He collapsed on the roof, without breathing or a heartbeat. Firefighters arrived at the scene, hoisted the man to the ground, and rushed him to Changhua Christian Hospital for emergency treatment, but he was declared dead.
The Changhua County Fire Bureau stated in a written release today that an electrocution accident occurred on Jinde Road in Changhua City this morning. The 63-year-old man was installing solar panels on the roof of a residential building and was suspected of being electrocuted while testing them after installation. The man collapsed on the roof, without breathing or a heartbeat.
Upon arrival, firefighters climbed onto the roof, administered cardiopulmonary resuscitation to the man, and used a ladder truck to hoist him to the ground. He was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment. After rescue efforts at Changhua Christian Hospital, the man was declared dead at 11 a.m.
