(Central News Agency, Tainan, July 6) The Singapore Rejuvenation Qigong Association held a social dinner in Singapore. The menu was co-designed by the Tainan City Government and Singapore's New Taiwan Hall, using a variety of Tainan ingredients and food products. Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che traveled to the location to promote agricultural products, hoping to expand the local market.

According to a press release issued by the Tainan City Government today, Huang Wei-che flew to Singapore after concluding his trip to South Korea. Yesterday, he participated in the dinner, which hosted nearly 80 tables, along with Representative to Singapore Tong Chen-yuan and others. A special exhibition area for Tainan agricultural and specialty products was also set up at the venue to enhance the international visibility of Tainan's agricultural products.

Huang Wei-che stated that a healthy lifestyle requires not only regular exercise but also high-quality, safe food. Bringing Tainan ingredients to the Singapore dinner showcased the diversity of Tainan's produce and food culture. The high quality of Tainan ingredients aligns with the host organization's pursuit of a healthy diet philosophy. This innovative collaboration is a wonderful attempt by Tainan to expand its food market in Singapore and promote its agricultural and specialty products.

He added that Singapore has always been an important international exchange partner for Tainan and a significant overseas consumer market for high-end dining. In recent years, Tainan has actively exported various high-quality and healthy fruits, agricultural, and fishery products to Singapore. He hopes that through the positive taste experiences of local consumers, a high-quality brand image for Tainan's agricultural and specialty products will be established.

According to data provided by the Tainan City Government's Agriculture Bureau, the dinner menu incorporated diverse ingredients from Tainan, including mangoes, guavas, passion fruit, barramundi, milkfish, minced pork sauce, fried shallots, fish balls, and preserved plums, allowing guests to savor delicious food and Tainan's local culture. In the future, Tainan agricultural products will continue to be promoted through diversified marketing methods to expand overseas business opportunities. (Editor: Li Ming-tsung) 1150706
