(CNA) Taipei, July 6 - Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks pitcher Hsu Jo-Hsi, who was previously scratched from a first-team start due to physical condition, is still in an unclear state. Japanese media described pitching coach Shinji Kurano as looking worried, stating, "The fact is he cannot pitch right now."

The 25-year-old pitcher Hsu Jo-Hsi was originally scheduled to start for the first team against the Orix Buffaloes on June 24, but was scratched the day before due to physical issues. Hsu Jo-Hsi's last appearance in the first team was on June 7, and his previous outing was a relief appearance in the second team on June 14.

At the time, SoftBank's pitching coach Shinji Kurano stated that Hsu Jo-Hsi was not in a condition to pitch immediately. Hsu Jo-Hsi is currently still undergoing training adjustments without pitching. According to Japanese media reports, when asked again about Hsu Jo-Hsi's condition today, Kurano stated that he would receive a report soon.

When asked if Hsu Jo-Hsi's condition was not ideal, Kurano replied with a worried expression, "The specific situation is not entirely clear right now, but the fact is he cannot pitch. That's about the size of it."

Hsu Jo-Hsi has made a total of 6 starts in the first team in Nippon Professional Baseball this season, pitching 30.2 innings and allowing 17 earned runs, with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses, and an ERA of 4.99. (Editor: Chang Ming-kun) 1150706
