TAIPEI, Taiwan (CNA) -- Topkay announced today on behalf of its major subsidiary, Topkay (Vietnam) Co., Ltd., that its board of directors has resolved a significant investment plan. The plan involves the acquisition and construction of dormitories and the second phase of land for factory expansion in Vietnam. The investment is expected to be approximately $10 million starting this year, with funding sourced from capital increases applied for from the parent company, to meet the needs of the group's business and operational development.
According to information from Topkay's official website, Topkay Group was founded in 1980. Initially, it operated in the racket business and has actively expanded into diversified composite material applications, including businesses such as bicycles, helmets, aerospace, and medical equipment, with operational bases in China, Vietnam, and other locations.
Topkay's revenue in May was NT$802 million, a year-on-year increase of 20.7%. Revenue for the first five months was NT$3.98 billion, a year-on-year decrease of 3.07%. 1150706
