(CNA reporter Kuan Jui-ping, Miaoli County, July 6) As the summer job-seeking season heats up, the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch of the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, will hold two job fairs in Miaoli County in July. The Zhunan fair on the 9th will feature AI semiconductor companies including TSMC, while the Yuanli fair on the 18th will offer positions across diverse industries. A total of nearly 3,000 job openings will be available.

The Miaoli Employment Center of the Taoyuan-Hsinchu-Miaoli Branch stated today that to assist new graduates and the unemployed in finding suitable employment and to promote local industrial development, two on-site job fairs are planned for July in Zhunan and Yuanli. A total of 46 companies have been invited, offering nearly 3,000 job opportunities across various sectors. Attendees who complete an interview will receive a small lucky gift.

The Zhunan job fair will be held at 9 AM on July 9th on the 3rd floor of the Administrative Service Center in the Zhunan Science Park. In response to the strong development of the AI and semiconductor industries, companies such as TSMC, Accton Technology Corporation, Wistron Corporation, Micron Technology Taiwan, and Kingsemi Co., Ltd. have been invited. These companies cover key areas including wafer manufacturing, AI servers, high-speed networking, memory, and semiconductor equipment. Other technology firms like Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd., Powerchip Semiconductor Manufacturing Corp., King Yuan Electronics Co., Ltd., Chipbond Technology Corporation, and PlayNitride Inc. will also be present, offering diverse positions in process engineering, equipment, R&D, manufacturing, and IT.

Notably, TSMC and Siliconware Precision Industries Co., Ltd. are each offering over 300 positions, providing a significant opportunity for job seekers aspiring to join the technology industry.

The Yuanli job fair will take place at 9 AM on July 18th at the Xinfu Village Community Center in Yuanli Township, focusing on employment opportunities in southern Miaoli. Sixteen companies will participate, covering diverse sectors such as chemicals, food, manufacturing, machining, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, food services, security, and engineering. Wan An Security is offering 100 positions, and McDonald's is providing 80 job opportunities, including roles in store operations, security management, and management trainee programs, catering to the needs of job seekers of different ages and backgrounds.

Chang Chieh-ju, director of the Miaoli Employment Center, stated that graduating students are welcome to participate in the job fairs and are encouraged to utilize the various employment service resources provided by the Workforce Development Agency, Ministry of Labor, to enhance their competitiveness.
