The Ministry of Finance recently released its latest statistics on individual income tax, with Guanxin Village in Hsinchu City's East District reclaiming the title of the richest village with an average total income of NT$4.592 million. According to the Ministry of Finance's statistics, the top 5 richest villages in Taiwan in 2024 are all located in the northern part of the island. Guanxin Village in Hsinchu City's East District, known as a hub for Hsinchu Science Park's new elites, ranked first with an average total income of NT$4.592 million. Yongfu Village in Taipei City's Shilin District moved up to second place with an average income of NT$3.548 million. Zhonghua Village in Taipei City's Songshan District, which held the top spot in 2023, dropped to third place with an average income of NT$3.489 million.
