(CNA) Hsinchu, July 7 - The board of directors of Adata Technology today resolved to launch a cash tender offer for Glassicana common shares at NT$24 per share, with plans to acquire between 10 million and 25 million shares, representing approximately 22.29% to 55.73% of Glassicana's outstanding shares.
At a press conference held this evening, Adata's Senior Manager Lin Ming-hui announced the tender offer for Glassicana common shares. The tender offer period will run from July 8 to July 27. If the minimum tender condition of 10 million shares is met, the tender offer will be successful.
Adata stated that Glassicana, established in 1994, is one of Taiwan's representative cultural and creative enterprises, specializing in the design and production of high-end crystal glass (liuli) artworks. It was listed on the over-the-counter market in 2003, becoming the first cultural and creative company listed in Taiwan.
Adata pointed out that it will leverage Glassicana's high-end artistic design and cultural value to enhance the group's brand image and differentiation. By combining its capital strength with the resources of the technology industry, it aims to create a cross-industry advantage of "cultural art and technology brands." (Editor: Chang Chun-mao) 1150707
