(Central News Agency, reporter Chang Chien-chung, Hsinchu, July 7) Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) designer Jorjin Technologies announced today that its self-reported June revenue was NT$159 million, a decrease of 12.3% month-on-month. However, this represents an 88.44% increase compared to the same period last year, marking a record high for the same period in history. Jorjin Technologies stated that its current order backlog remains high, and the outlook for its operations in the second half of the year is optimistic.
Jorjin Technologies' revenue for the second quarter was NT$613 million, setting a new quarterly historical high, with a 65.9% increase quarter-on-quarter and a 121.7% increase year-on-year. For the first half of the year, revenue reached NT$983 million, a 107.89% increase compared to the same period last year.
Jorjin Technologies pointed out that driven by strong demand in Artificial Intelligence (AI), high-performance computing, and high-speed interface applications, the momentum for securing high-end process Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) projects remains robust, and the order backlog is maintained at a high level.
Looking ahead, Jorjin Technologies stated that it has successfully entered a 4nm advanced process project with a US-based client. Additionally, several projects utilizing processes below 12nm are slated for mass production, which is expected to contribute to revenue from design services and mass production. The company will continue to deepen its cooperative relationships with wafer foundry and packaging and testing supply chain partners, seizing the growth opportunities presented by the AI wave.
