(Central News Agency Reporter Wang Hung-kuo, New Taipei, July 7) KMT New Taipei City mayoral candidate Lee Chuan-chuan unveiled the "New Taipei Artisan Passport" program, which will connect 18 tourist factories and industrial culture centers, aiming to make tourist factories New Taipei's most representative family travel brand and drive the development of the local tourism industry.

Lee Chuan-chuan visited the Vigor Pineapple Cake Tourist Factory in Wugu today, engaging in in-depth exchanges with baking industry professionals and participating in a parent-child pineapple cake making experience. He also revealed that he had operated a bakery many years ago.

Lee Chuan-chuan pointed out that when operating a bakery, every detail is crucial for success. For example, if the mixing bowl is not thoroughly cleaned, any residual grease or oil residue can prevent egg whites from being whipped properly, thus affecting the quality.

He stated that doing every detail perfectly is the embodiment of the artisan spirit, and he holds great respect for bakers. Every step behind the finished product must be completed in a high-temperature environment and relies on years of accumulated experience and expertise.

Lee Chuan-chuan proposed the "New Taipei Artisan Passport" program during a media interview, connecting various tourist factories. Holders of the artisan passport can visit all 18 locations; the program includes a stamp collection and exploration activity to win prizes. Participants can collect exclusive commemorative stamps at each location with their artisan passport, and a specified number of stamps can be redeemed for limited edition souvenirs.

He said that they will deepen vocational exploration certification and healthy aging venues, not only making tourist factories recognized vocational exploration and handicraft learning fields by the Department of Education. In the future, they will further connect with the Department of Health to promote dementia-friendly support stations, introducing tourist factory tours and DIY courses as "social prescriptions." This will allow seniors to promote healthy participation and delay decline through observation and handicraft activities, allowing a single cultural and creative passport to carry the city's values of education and health.
