Regarding the recent oil scandal, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi pointed out that at the first sign of the incident, they required all food and beverage brands in their stores nationwide to conduct a comprehensive review and confirm the sources of their cooking oil and related raw materials. Currently, the cooking oil, salad dressings, and other ingredients used by the food and beverage brands in their stores do not involve raw materials from the problematic batches related to this incident.

Shin Kong Mitsukoshi stated that they will continue to implement food safety management mechanisms, closely monitor information announced by regulatory authorities, and continue to provide consumers with a safe and secure dining environment.

Far Eastern SOGO stated that after investigation and inspection, relevant food courts and themed restaurants have not used cooking oil from problematic batches or related oils. Breeze stated that after a comprehensive investigation, all restaurants and food courts have not used cooking oil from the problematic batches related to this incident and have reported to the health authorities. They will continue to implement food safety management to ensure consumer dining safety.

Xinzhuang HongHui Plaza pointed out that all restaurants and food courts have not used the announced problematic cooking oil and have also reported to the health authorities. Additionally, some restaurants, although using the same brand of oil, had different batch numbers and expiration dates from the announced batches. To further enhance food safety, they have requested the suppliers to cooperate with voluntary replacement.

Mitsui, which owns malls such as Mitsui OUTLET and LaLaport, stated that each mall has conducted inventory checks.
