Taxi Driver Registration Test in Taipei to Be Fully Computerized

(CNA reporter Huang Li-yun, Taipei, July 7) The Taipei City Police Department's Traffic Division announced today that starting in July, the Taxi Driver Registration Test Management System will be officially launched, allowing immediate knowledge of results after the test and effectively improving test administration efficiency.

The Traffic Division issued a press release stating that the "Taxi Driver Registration Test Management System" will be officially launched in July, replacing traditional paper-based test operations. Through a digitized test process, candidates can immediately know their test results after completing the answers and receive their test results and lecture notification on the spot, effectively improving administrative efficiency.

The new system integrates operations such as candidate data filing, question distribution, and score calculation. The Traffic Division said that it greatly simplifies manual workflows, reduces administrative costs such as printing and venue rental, and enhances the overall efficiency of test operations.

The Traffic Division mentioned that to ensure the fairness of the test, the system introduces a dynamic random question selection mechanism and combines intelligent examination room management functions to grasp the situation in the examination room and test-taking status in real-time. In addition, candidates can complete identity verification and assign seats through digital check-in, greatly saving examination time.

The Traffic Division urges those intending to apply to make good use of the online registration on the National Police Agency's Taxi Driver Service Network to save waiting time for on-site registration, and to download the test question bank from the website for pre-test preparation.
