(Central News Agency, reporter Li Chien-chung, Taipei, July 8) Taishin-Shin Kong Financial Holding today unveiled its Sports Empowerment Program, inviting sponsored athletes Chen Pei-yun, Luo Chia-ling, Ku Tsui-ping, Raymond, and Hsu Fu-ya to attend and interact with children, hoping to pass on different sports continuously.

The Taishin-Shin Kong Financial Holding Sports Empowerment Program aims to integrate and allocate resources to invest in four sports: football, basketball, karate, and esports, allowing more children to receive more resources and train and learn without constraints.

Hsu Fu-ya, only 20 years old, has qualified for the Asian Games for the first time this year and will represent Taiwan in Nagoya. She told reporters today that she is very excited, looking forward to it, and also nervous. She could only watch the Hangzhou Asian Games on TV as a spectator last time, and she never expected to become a national athlete herself this time.

Hsu Fu-ya, who started breakdancing at the age of 8, never thought this street culture would become a competitive sport. "When I first started dancing, I felt it was a culture, a spirit representing the streets. I never expected it to become a competitive sport and even an Olympic and Asian Games event."

Hsu Fu-ya also talked about the differences between the two. She believes that general international competitions are cultural competitions. "Including myself, the choreography and interaction with the audience are more casual and improvised; but in competitive sports, it's more SOP, and the required movements must be completed."

Although it is her first time participating in the Asian Games, Hsu Fu-ya still hopes to perform her best. "My results in previous competitions in Taiwan were good, but there was some gap in international competitions. I hope to maintain normal performance in this Asian Games."

She also mentioned a small regret in her heart. "Japanese star Ami Yuasa, who won the gold medal in women's breakdancing at the Paris Olympics, is my idol. I originally thought if there was a chance to compete with her, but she retired after the Olympics. I feel it's a pity." (Edited by Li Heng-shan) 1150708
