(Central News Agency, reporter Cai Meng-yu, Kaohsiung, July 8) Kuomintang Kaohsiung mayoral candidate and legislator Ke Chih-en today announced four major AI education policy directions: "popularization, application, integration, and sustainability." Ke Chih-en stated that through these four major strategies, Kaohsiung will be built into a model city for AI education and talent cultivation in Taiwan.

Ke Chih-en announced the four major AI education policy directions today through a press release, including "popularization, application, integration, and sustainability." Ke Chih-en said that Kaohsiung cannot just introduce AI technology in the future, but must also cultivate talent with AI capabilities and establish a complete AI talent cultivation system from campus to the workplace, and from education to industry.

In terms of "popularization," she advocates for the comprehensive introduction of educational AI from elementary and junior high schools, providing personalized AI learning assistants for students aged 6 to 18 in Kaohsiung to implement educational equity; simultaneously building a seamless smart learning network to bridge the urban-rural gap; and promoting AI experience courses for all citizens, allowing laborers, small and medium-sized enterprises, and the general public to learn.

In terms of "application," Ke Chih-en advocates that in the future, under the premise of cybersecurity, more municipal data will be opened up, combined with hackathon competitions, allowing students to use real data to solve urban governance issues; and promoting project-based learning, encouraging students to develop AI applications for campus and community, so that learning outcomes can be truly implemented in life.

In terms of "integration," Ke Chih-en proposes to build an AI talent network for industry-government-academia cooperation, so that AI education can be directly linked to workplace and industry needs. In terms of "sustainability," she proposes to establish a teacher AI support system in the future, reducing administrative burdens through AI; and allowing students from elementary schools to universities to systematically build AI literacy.

Ke Chih-en stated that AI is rapidly changing the world and redefining the future of education, work, and industry. Her goal is to build a city where "all citizens have practical AI capabilities," so that every Kaohsiung citizen can use AI, leverage AI, and even create value with AI. (Editor: Long Bai-an) 1150708
