EVA Air Defeats Qatar Airways and Emirates, Over 200,000 Readers Rank it No. 1 International Airline

(CNA, Taipei, July 8) EVA Air announced today that it has been selected as the No. 1 Best International Airline (World’s Best International Airlines) for 2026 by the American travel magazine Travel + Leisure, marking a new record for the airline.

EVA Air Chairman Lin Pao-shui stated in a press release today that winning first place is thanks to the hard work of all employees. EVA Air continues to enhance its service quality, for example, by introducing its all-new fourth-generation Premium Economy Class in 2025, and collaborating with international brands to upgrade in-flight service items and dining.

EVA Air pointed out that the evaluation criteria for the "Airline Industry" in this survey included cabin comfort, in-flight service, customer service, and overall value. This year, EVA Air was ranked among the top ten global airlines, alongside Qatar Airways, Emirates, Singapore Airlines, and Japan Airlines, securing the championship.

Travel + Leisure is a globally distributed travel magazine that annually conducts the World’s Best Awards Survey.
