July Taiwan Stock Futures Down 131 Points

(CNA Taipei, July 8) - The Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 255.30 points today at 45734.41 points. The July Taiwan Stock Futures closed at 45564 points, down 131 points, with a discount of 170.41 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference price for the index futures contracts for the past two months as follows: July futures at 45695 points, August futures at 45978 points.

The Taiwan Stock Exchange closed up 255.30 points today at 45734.41 points, with a transaction value of NT$958.346 billion.

The July Taiwan Stock Futures closed at 45564 points, down 131 points, with 72,959 contracts traded; the August futures closed at 45824 points, down 154 points, with 1,343 contracts traded. The actual closing prices are subject to the announcement by the Futures Exchange. 1150708
