(CNA) - Delta Electronics announced today that its revenue for June reached NT$65.603 billion, a year-on-year increase of 55.4% and a 11.3% rise from May. This surpasses the previous historical record of NT$59.779 billion set in March of this year, marking a new single-month revenue high.

Delta Electronics' revenue for the second quarter was NT$183.256 billion, a year-on-year increase of 47.7% and a 15% growth from the first quarter, also setting a new quarterly revenue record. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$342.609 billion, a 41% increase year-on-year.

Delta Electronics specifically noted that the significant year-on-year revenue growth in June, exceeding 50%, was primarily driven by strong demand for AI-related products.

Delta Electronics Chairman Ping Cheng previously stated at an investor conference that AI remains the main growth driver for Delta Electronics this year. The combined capital expenditure of the four major US cloud service providers (CSPs) is estimated to be approximately US$410 billion in 2025, with an estimated US$670 billion for this year, representing a year-on-year growth rate of over 60%. Delta Electronics is expected to benefit accordingly. In addition to revenue, Cheng is optimistic that as the proportion of AI product shipments continues to increase, Delta Electronics' high gross margin can be maintained for a period.

Another major power supply manufacturer, Lite-On Technology, also announced its June revenue today at NT$18.655 billion, a 7.5% increase month-on-month and a 36.98% increase year-on-year, reaching a nearly 8-year high since September 2018. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$96.112 billion, a 25.08% increase year-on-year. (Editor: Huang Kuo-lun) 0709
