Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. revenue in June more than doubles year-on-year, backlog hits new high of NT$134.7 billion

(CNA) Hsinchu, July 9 - High-tech equipment and materials manufacturer Sino-American Silicon Products Inc. (SASI) is experiencing strong order intake, with its backlog reaching NT$134.7 billion, a new historical high.

Driven by growth in sales and engineering revenue, SASI's revenue in June surged to NT$7.596 billion, another historical high, an increase of 8.92% month-on-month and 120.99% year-on-year.

SASI's second-quarter revenue surpassed the NT$20 billion mark, reaching approximately NT$21.2 billion, a new quarterly historical high, up 48.16% quarter-on-quarter. Accumulated revenue for the first half of the year was NT$45.508 billion, a year-on-year increase of 39.48%.

In addition to increased revenue from plant engineering services, SASI's agency sales revenue for the first half of the year, including packaging equipment, reached NT$9.3 billion, a historical high.

SASI stated that with strong order intake in Taiwan, the United States, Japan, Singapore, and mainland China, its backlog has further expanded to NT$134.7 billion, continuing to set new historical records. (Editor: Yang Kai-hsiang) 0709
