(CNA, reporter Tseng Jen-kai, Taipei, July 9) The Taiwan Stock Exchange announced tonight via press release that due to the approach of Typhoon Bavi, the Taipei City Government has declared a suspension of work for all public and civil servants on July 10. The centralized trading market will be closed for the entire day, and all payments and securities due for settlement on that day will be postponed.
In addition, the GreTai Securities Market (GTSM) also announced today that tomorrow, listed and quoted stocks (including emerging stocks), call/put warrants, ETFs, ETNs, TDRs, open-ended fund beneficial certificates, gold spot, bonds, and derivative financial products will suspend trading for one day.
