July Taiwan Stock Futures Rise 115 Points

(CNA Taipei, July 9) The Taiwan stock market closed down 379.80 points today at 45354.61 points. The July Taiwan Stock Futures closed at 45678 points, up 115 points, with a premium of 323.39 points compared to the spot market.

The opening reference prices set by the Taiwan Futures Exchange for the nearest two-month index futures contracts were 45563 points for July futures and 45846 points for August futures.

The Taiwan stock market closed down 379.80 points today at 45354.61 points, with a transaction volume of NT$944.341 billion.

July Taiwan Stock Futures closed at 45678 points, up 115 points, with 67,292 contracts traded; August futures closed at 45987 points, up 141 points, with 1,698 contracts traded. The actual closing prices are subject to the announcement by the Futures Exchange. 1150709
