Foreign Investors Sold NT$165.4 Billion Last Week, Heavily Bought 200,100 Lots of AU Optronics

According to statistics released today by the Taiwan Stock Exchange, foreign investors recorded a net sell of NT$165.437 billion in the集中 market last week. Sinopec topped the sell list with 68,208 lots sold, followed by Want Want with 64,714 lots and Formosa Chemicals with 61,118 lots.

On the buy side, AU Optron游戏副本 was the most heavily purchased stock with a net buy of 200,141 lots, followed by EVA Airways with 107,882 lots and Yuanta Financial Holding with 56,543 lots.

The total market value of stocks held by foreign investors stood at NT$71.798691 trillion, accounting for 48.53% of the total market capitalization of listed stocks. This represents a decrease of NT$2.373681 trillion from the NT$74.172372 trillion recorded on July 3.

From the beginning of the year through July 9, foreign investors have cumulatively sold a net NT$1.251045 trillion worth of stocks. (Editor: Huang Kuo-lun)
