(Taipei, July 13, CNA reporter Lu Yan-ci) The Ministry of Finance announced today the launch of a promotional campaign starting July 14 to encourage public adoption of the updated 'Uniform Invoice Lottery App.' Users who update the app will have the chance to win limited participation gifts, with a total of 16,000 prizes worth TWD 2.15 million.

The Ministry held a press conference today titled 'A Cloud-Based New World: Eco-Friendly and Convenient.' Ms. Sung Hsiu-ling, Director-General of the Ministry's Taxation Administration, stated that to achieve full digitalization from invoice issuance to prize redemption, the campaign will run from July 14 to incentivize the public to download and use the 'Ministry of Finance Uniform Invoice Lottery App.'

Ms. Chen Hui-chi, Director-General of the Southern Taiwan Office of the National Taxation Bureau, explained that the campaign will run from 10:00 AM on July 14 to 6:00 PM on September 30, 2023, and includes four major promotions: 'Register & Win Gifts,' 'Donate Invoices & Get Rewards,' 'Complete Missions for Hero Ranking,' and 'Eco Green Points Bonus.'

Chen detailed that users who register as campaign members will have a chance to win electronic coffee vouchers in four rounds, with 2,000 limited spots per round. Additionally, users who donate more than 10 invoices will receive electronic gift vouchers worth TWD 100. Third, users who complete various tasks—such as storing cloud invoices, linking digital carriers, setting up prize redemption accounts, watching tax education videos, completing app feedback surveys, and referring friends—will earn points through fun games like spin wheels, scratch cards, and slot machines, with chances to win electronic gift vouchers ranging from TWD 500 to TWD 2,000.

Chen added that the Environmental Protection Administration is co-hosting the 'Eco Green Points Bonus' campaign, allowing users to redeem electronic coffee vouchers via the EPA's app. Furthermore, if the number of app updates exceeds 3.3 million by August 8, 2023, additional member points will be awarded, increasing users' chances of winning.

The Southern Taiwan Office reminded the public that, in line with environmental sustainability, all prizes will be issued as electronic vouchers, redeemable until October 31, 2023. (Edited by Huang Kuo-lun) 1150713
