(Taipei, April 13 - Reporter Hung Su-chin) Actresses Christi Su and Qianqian host the cross-border banquet reality show 'Feast for the World,' where their recent role swap sparked discussion. The production unit stated the change was a collective decision, emphasizing that team cohesion is built on mutual trust and continuous experimentation.
'Feast for the World' blends cross-border banquet culture with heartfelt storytelling. During the Kumamoto episode, Su proposed swapping roles with Qianqian. This role reversal not only pushed both women out of their comfort zones but also showcased the Taiwanese team's spirit of mutual support and willingness to take on challenges.
In a press release, the production team explained that during the Sydney banquet, three head chefs assigned each host to specific roles based on on-site needs. As tasks progressed, participants gained deeper understanding of each position and began expressing interest in trying different roles.
The team emphasized that strong team chemistry stems from mutual trust and ongoing experimentation. After successfully completing the Sydney mission, they asked the five hosts if anyone wanted to try a different role. Su expressed a desire to learn in the backstage area and experience work content entirely different from the front-of-house duties. All role-swapping discussions were conducted with mutual respect and a shared goal of mission completion.
Fellow host Chen Sui-i noted that Su's working style closely resembles Qianqian's: 'Both are extremely meticulous, take extensive notes, categorize everything, and leave no detail unchecked.' Lan Cheng-lung even dubbed Su the team's strongest 'executive assistant,' praising her for meticulously verifying every item from ingredient preparation—down to a single packet of pepper—without missing a thing.
