Taipower Equipment Failure Causes Power Outage in Fengshan, Over 1,000 Homes Affected, 15 Still Without Power

According to CNA reporter Tsai Meng-yu, on the morning of July 13 in Kaohsiung City's Fengshan District, a total of 1,166 households experienced an unexpected power outage. Following emergency repairs by Taipower, approximately 15 households remained without power as of noon. The cause has been identified as a failure in Taipower's own equipment, which is currently being replaced.

The Fengshan Branch of Taiwan Power Company reported that the outage occurred at 10:38 a.m., affecting areas along Wenjiao Road, Wenzheng Road, Wenchang 2nd Street, and Wenhua Road. Upon receiving the alert, Taipower immediately dispatched personnel to inspect and repair the site.

The Fengshan Branch stated that out of the 1,166 affected households, power has been restored to most, with only about 15 still without supply as of midday. Repair efforts are continuing.
