Michelin Taiwan noted that over 80% of the 13 newly added restaurants specialize in beloved local Taiwanese cuisine and traditional Hakka-style snacks.

Gwendal Poullennec, International Director of the Michelin Guide, stated, "This year’s Bib Gourmand selection places greater emphasis on relaxed, authentic dining experiences and the lively street food and local food culture cherished by the people."

Poullennec added, "Today, Taiwan stands out not only for its exceptional culinary skills but also for its open, inclusive spirit and eagerness for cultural exchange, making it one of Asia’s most exciting culinary destinations."
