The summer travel season is in full swing, and the annual Summer Travel Fair will kick off this weekend. Organizers report that more than 200 companies from across Taiwan will participate, showcasing over 800 booths. Exhibitor engagement continues to grow steadily. This year marks the first participation of Taiwan's Council of Indigenous Peoples and Japan's Miyagi Prefecture, both offering exclusive deals. A single ticket grants visitors access for four days.
In response to peak summer demand, EVA Air announced today the launch of its limited-time 'Cool Summer Wander' promotion. From now until July 31, special discounted fares are available on selected routes departing from Taiwan. For example, round-trip tickets from Taoyuan to Cebu start at NT$4,540 (before taxes), and Taoyuan to Busan from NT$6,137.
EVA Air is also collaborating with major travel agencies to launch a winter-exclusive package tour to Munich, starting from NT$62,800. Additionally, the Taoyuan-Aomori route will increase from five weekly flights to daily service starting June 1.
Meanwhile, Taiwan High Speed Rail is running its 'Designated Train Discount' and 'Family Co-Learning' summer programs from now through the end of September. The 'Designated Train Discount' bundles HSR tickets on specific trains with stays at selected premium hotels, encouraging off-peak weekday travel.
The 'Family Co-Learning' program integrates natural ecology, environmental education, local culture, and interactive experiences for families. (Edited by Li Heng-shan) 1150715
