July Taiwan Stock Index Futures Rise 1,040 Points

(Central News Agency, Taipei, July 15) Taiwan's stock market closed up 893.64 points today at 45,631.59. July Taiwan stock index futures closed at 45,830, up 1,040 points, showing a premium of 198.41 points compared to the spot market.

The Taiwan Futures Exchange set the opening reference prices for the nearest two-month index futures contracts: 44,790 points for July futures and 45,145 points for August futures.

Taiwan's stock market closed up 893.64 points at 45,631.59, with a total trading value of NT$984.081 billion.

July futures closed at 45,830, up 1,040 points, with 27,085 contracts traded. August futures closed at 46,050, up 905 points, with 41,617 contracts traded. Actual closing prices are subject to official announcements by the Futures Exchange. 1150715
