(Central News Agency reporter Wu Shu-wei, Taipei, July 16) The Ministry of National Defense stated that from 6 a.m. yesterday to 6 a.m. today, it detected 5 Chinese military aircraft, of which 3 crossed the median line into central and southwestern airspace, as well as 7 Chinese naval vessels and 2 government ships, totaling 14 Chinese aircraft and vessels continuously operating around the Taiwan Strait. The ROC military is closely monitoring and responding to the situation.

According to the 'PLA Aircraft Activity Around the Taiwan Strait' map released by the Ministry of National Defense today, the ROC military detected 3 Chinese combat aircraft and helicopters in the Taiwan Strait airspace from 8:35 a.m. to 5:05 p.m. yesterday, with one aircraft crossing the median line.

From 2:50 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. yesterday, the ROC military detected 2 Chinese drones and helicopters in the southwestern airspace of Taiwan, east of the median line.
