17 PLA Aircraft and Ships Operate Around Taiwan Strait; National Armed Forces Strictly Monitor and Respond

The Eastern Theater Command of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) announced that yesterday the theater organized the No. 133 naval flotilla to pass through the Yokoate Channel in the Ryukyu Islands, heading to the Western Pacific to conduct training activities to "test the troops' far-sea operational capabilities."

According to the "Schematic Diagram of PLA Activities in the Airspace Around the Taiwan Strait" released by the Ministry of National Defense today, the National Armed Forces detected 1 PLA drone in the airspace of the Taiwan Strait from 10:55 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. yesterday.

In addition, from 7:25 a.m. to 9:50 a.m. yesterday, the National Armed Forces detected 4 sorties of PLA main fighter jets in the southwestern airspace of Taiwan, east of the median line of the strait.
