According to AFP, the intelligence agency of Iran's Revolutionary Guard issued a statement saying: "The malicious and desperate enemies should understand that the Revolutionary Guard's intelligence organization will launch massive retaliatory strikes under a 'devastating revenge' operation against those who planned and carried out this crime."

Iranian military spokesman Mohammad Akraminia also stated today that Iran will continue to fight the United States and Israel as long as political leaders feel it is necessary.

Akraminia told the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA): "As long as political authorities deem it appropriate, we can continue this war."
