Investors downplayed concerns about escalating US-Iran tensions, and major US stock indices closed higher, with the Dow Jones Industrial Average up 165.21 points, the Nasdaq Composite up 117.16 points, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 82.72 points. TSMC's ADR rose US$2.72, or 0.8%, to close at US$341.76.
