Trump: US Sent Guns to Aid Iran Protests; Unhappy They Were Embezzled in Transit

According to combined reports by AFP and Reuters, Donald Trump told reporters at a White House Easter event: 'We sent guns, a lot of guns, which were supposed to go to the (Iranian anti-government) people so they could fight those thugs... and you know what? The people supposed to deliver them kept them for themselves. So I'm very unhappy with some people, and they will pay a big price for it.'

Trump did not disclose who took the US weapons, but a Fox News reporter cited Trump yesterday saying he believed Kurdish middlemen intercepted them.
