US negotiators are scheduled to arrive in Pakistan today, but Tehran has stated that Iranian officials have no plans for direct meetings to discuss ending the war that has claimed thousands of lives and unsettled global markets. The White House confirmed that envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner would depart this morning to meet with officials, including potentially Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi.

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth stated that Iran has an opportunity for a 'good deal' if they make meaningful choices regarding nuclear disarmament. Minister Araqchi has already arrived in Islamabad, meeting with his Pakistani counterpart Ishaq Dar at the Serena Hotel—the site of previous rounds.
