The Tainan City Farmers'' Association and the Gyeongsangbuk-do Agricultural Food Distribution Education & Promotion Institute (GB FOOD) from South Korea signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on industrial development today at the Tainan Yonghua Civic Center, deepening agricultural exchange between Taiwan and South Korea. Witnessed by Tainan Mayor Huang Wei-che, the signing symbolizes a new stage in bilateral agricultural cooperation, aimed at bolstering product marketing, technical exchange, and market expansion. Mayor Huang stated that Tainan’s tropical climate and Gyeongsangbuk-do’s temperate climate offer high complementarity in agricultural production and education. Through this MOU, both parties will deepen cooperation in technology, experience, and talent exchange to enhance agricultural development. The agreement covers agricultural trade promotion, cold chain logistics, processing technology, and talent training, which will accelerate the entry of high-quality Tainan agricultural products into the South Korean market.
