Qisda announced its strategic integration of AI across its four major business segments to foster future growth. Chairman C.C. Chen stated that the company, which has been profitable for 12 consecutive years, aims for a successful AI transformation, appointing AI industry veteran Shirley Ko as its new CEO. The four key growth drivers for 2024 are identified as intelligent solutions, medical, networking, and IT. CEO Shirley Ko outlined the focus areas: AI vision and display, AI infrastructure, AI solutions and smart manufacturing, and smart healthcare and healthy care ecosystems. Qisda reported consolidated revenue of NT$51.54 billion for the first quarter, a 4% year-on-year increase. Gross profit margin was 16.7%, and net profit attributable to the parent company was NT$318 million, or NT$0.2 per share. Qisda and 14 group companies will exhibit at COMPUTEX Taipei, showcasing AI applications and cross-domain integration.
