TRA Overhead Line Fault Between Chaozhou and Fangliao, Road Shuttle Service Activated

(Taipei, May 8, Reporter Huang Qiaowen) Taiwan Railways Administration (TRA) announced today that due to an overhead line fault between Chaozhou and Nanzhou this morning, the line is temporarily impassable. TRA Company apologized and stated that a road shuttle service has been activated between Chaozhou and Fangliao, and personnel have been dispatched to the site to carry out full repair efforts.

TRA explained through a message that at 9:50 AM this morning, it received a report of an overhead line fault between Chaozhou and Nanzhou, and the line is currently temporarily impassable. A road shuttle service has been activated between Chaozhou and Fangliao, and the company immediately established a first-level emergency response team and a southern regional response subgroup.
