Taiwanese actress Lin Chi-ling's appointment as a board member of the Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA) has sparked public debate. Minister of Culture Li Yuan clarified that the position is unpaid and involves no conflicts of interest. Li emphasized that Lin's international experience will be instrumental in promoting Taiwanese films globally. She had previously established an independent fund for female-driven films and pledged to help bring 10 domestic films to the international market within five years. Other new board members include Chen Shiang-chyi and Liu Ssu-ming.
