Minister of Economic Affairs: AI wave to lead Taiwan in global marketing, creating an empire on which the economic sun never sets

Minister of Economic Affairs Kung Ming-hsin stated that the ICT industry significantly contributes to Taiwan's exports. Following Taiwan's strong economic foundation, it must expand globally to achieve the vision of an "economic empire on which the sun never sets." He highlighted Taiwan's economic growth rate of 8.68% in 2025 and an expected rate exceeding 7% this year. The government aims to leverage the AI wave to secure a crucial position worldwide while continuing to support traditional industries.
