MOFA welcomes Israeli mayoral delegation, Wu Chih-chung thanks Israel for long-term support

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Wu Chih-chung hosted a luncheon to welcome a four-member Israeli mayoral delegation led by Bat Yam Mayor Tzvika Brot. Wu thanked Israel for its long-term support and hoped the visit would deepen local cooperation through exchanges with Taipei and Tainan. Mayor Brot expressed gratitude for Taiwan's immediate assistance when Israeli cities faced Iranian attacks, highlighting the deep friendship between the two sides and looking forward to expanding bilateral ties.
