Pingtung police deputy chief accused of sexually harassing female officer, demoted and reprimanded

A female police officer in Pingtung's Donggang Precinct accused Deputy Chief Tseng of sexual harassment. The Pingtung County Police Bureau launched an investigation and confirmed the allegations. As a result, Tseng received a reprimand and was removed from his supervisory role. The female officer resigned in early May. The police emphasized a zero-tolerance policy for sexual harassment, and the criminal aspects of the case have been forwarded to the Pingtung District Prosecutors Office.
