Ministry of Education Partners with 15 Counties to Launch Vocational Training Classes, Equipping Students with Skills

The National Education Administration (NEA) is partnering with 15 local governments in the 114th academic year to launch 44 vocational training classes for junior high students. These programs focus on practical skills and experiential learning to help students discover their talents and build confidence. Examples include Ligang Junior High School in Pingtung County, where students learn culinary skills from operating coffee machines to preparing gourmet dishes, with 96% opting for vocational education. Donggang High School's junior high department in Pingtung County offers courses integrating local culture with food, hospitality, and design, preserving maritime heritage and craftsmanship. The NEA aims to provide a dedicated pathway for students, fostering confidence and helping them find suitable career directions through hands-on learning.
