In Taiwan's competitive dining market, restaurants are increasingly turning to cross-industry collaborations and content innovation to attract and retain customers. A growing trend involves partnering with celebrity chefs to create new dishes or offer exclusive dining experiences. For instance, INPARADISE, a buffet brand under the Xiangbin Group, has teamed up with Chef Daniel Sanz Martin, founder of the Spanish restaurant JARANA, which has been recognized by the "Taiwan Michelin Guide" from 2022 to 2025. From now until July 31st, diners can enjoy five signature Spanish classic dishes, including paella and Santiago almond cake. The Xiangbin Group noted that such collaborations and innovations aim to provide diverse dining experiences and have already generated significant buzz and customer interest, with an estimated 10-20% increase in overall revenue expected. Similarly, pizza chain Pizza Hut has appointed innovative chef Shi Jiefu as its collaborative supervisor and flavor designer. He has developed two new penne pasta flavors, incorporating Italian, Japanese, and Korean elements: Mentaiiko Scallop Shrimp Penne and Kimchi Cheese Snowflake Beef Penne, aiming to bring private kitchen-level flavors to consumers.
