Actress Di Ying, Distraught, Found at Tamsui Beach; Police Located and Assisted Her Home

(CNA, New Taipei, May 18, Reporter: Wang Hung-kuo) Veteran actress Di Ying, allegedly distraught after her son Sun An-Tso was arrested and detained over a self-made firearm, became unreachable. Tamsui police received a report this afternoon that she had appeared at a beach. Officers were dispatched for an emergency search, successfully located her, and assisted her in returning home. The Tamsui Precinct explained via a message that after receiving a report from the Beitou Precinct's command center that Ms. Di was emotionally distressed due to recent family matters and had taken a taxi to the seaside, they immediately dispatched local police forces to investigate. At 5:22 PM today, she was found at Shalun Beach. At the time, she was sitting by the sea, not in any life-threatening danger. The police have since assisted her in returning home.
