The Chinese Taipei Badminton Association completed the election process for its 15th chairman, and board of directors and supervisors. The outgoing chairman, Chang Kuo-tso, said in his speech that he was grateful for the opportunity to contribute to Taiwan's badminton over the past eight years, allowing the association to continue promoting its affairs, domestic and international competitions, and player development, and witnessing Taiwan's badminton achieve outstanding results on the international stage.
The new chairman, 70-year-old Hsu An-chin, has long been involved in the development of sports in Taiwan. He has served as the vice president of the Sports Federation of the Republic of China, chairman of the Chinese Taipei Taekwondo Association, chairman of the Chinese Taipei Bodybuilding and Fitness Association, and is the current chairman of the Chinese Taipei Equestrian Association.
Hsu An-chin stated that in recent years, Taiwanese badminton has continued to achieve brilliant results in international competitions. Not only has it shown competitiveness in the Olympics, Asian Games, and World Tour, but it has also driven the rapid growth of badminton's popularity among the public, making badminton one of the most influential sports in Taiwan.
