The Joint Board of College Recruitment Commission (JBCRC) announced today that during the first weekend of interviews, candidates were found carrying unapproved mobile devices. If a candidate is found to have engaged in examination fraud or other acts affecting admission fairness, their application qualification will be canceled upon verification. For the 115th academic year, the results of the first-stage screening for the university application pipeline were announced on March 31. Candidates who passed the screening must participate in the second-stage designated item interviews held by each university between May 14 and 31. The JBCRC issued a press release today stating that during the first weekend of the application interviews, candidates were found carrying unapproved mobile devices in the examination room and were caught by proctors. According to the admission regulations, if a candidate engages in examination fraud or other acts affecting admission fairness, their application qualification will be canceled upon verification. The JBCRC mentioned that all university application admissions must adhere to the principles of fairness, impartiality, and openness. According to Article 12 of the "Regulations for University Application Admissions," if a candidate is found to have committed forgery, examination fraud, or other acts affecting admission fairness after registration and before admission, their application qualification will be canceled or other appropriate measures will be taken upon verification. In serious cases, the matter will be referred to judicial authorities for legal action. The second-stage application interviews are currently underway. The JBCRC reminds candidates that devices with communication, photography, or data transmission functions (such as smartphones, smartwatches, smart glasses, Bluetooth earphones, etc.) are not to be carried or used in the examination room without prior approved application.
