Before their departure, members of the YoungKey Girls cheerleading squad told the media in a joint interview that they were honored to be invited by the MLB in their first year of formation to perform at the Los Angeles Angels' home stadium. They are very much looking forward to appearing as the 'YoungKey Girls' on Taiwan Day and bringing 'Taiwanese-style cheering' to the United States to interact with overseas fans. The YoungKey Girls said that the members have put in a lot of effort for their major league debut.
