According to information provided by the record company, "Aurora in July" is a collaborative work between Jay Chou and Vincent Fang. Two years ago, Chou saw the aurora and a shooting star with his family and wrote on Instagram: "If I don't write a song for this scene, it would be a bit unjustifiable, right?" In the lyrics, Vincent Fang wrote, "I leave all the wishes for you to make, I know I will be in your wishes." He revealed that the inspiration for these two lines came from Jay Chou's belief that leaving the best wishes for his loved ones to make is enough, and this idea gave birth to the lyrics.
