Korean solid-state drive (SSD) controller manufacturer FADU is actively targeting the artificial intelligence (AI) market, announcing today that it will strengthen cooperation with Taiwanese partners such as ADATA and deepen its collaboration with Taiwan's semiconductor and storage industry ecosystem. FADU was founded in 2015, focusing on designing system-on-chips (SoCs) for data center SSD controllers. It was listed on South Korea's KOSDAQ in 2023 and has locations in South Korea, the United States, Taiwan, China, and Poland. FADU stated that it currently collaborates with multiple NAND Flash suppliers and has successfully penetrated the hyperscale cloud service provider ecosystem. It has completed product validation and entered the mass production stage with at least two of the world's top five hyperscale cloud service providers. FADU mentioned that in addition to continuing to cultivate the U.S. market, it is also actively expanding into the Asian market and strengthening cooperation with Taiwanese partners like ADATA. In the future, it will further deepen its collaboration with Taiwan's semiconductor and storage industry ecosystem, accelerating the commercialization of next-generation AI storage solutions through close technical collaboration.
