(CNA, Taipei, May 20) President Lai Ching-te said today that he will propose a NT$100 billion plan to accelerate the upgrading and transformation of small, medium, and micro enterprises and traditional industries, and to have the tech industry drive traditional industries, allowing the nation's development to be further implemented across all trades and industries. President Lai delivered a speech marking his second year in office at the Presidential Office in the morning, accompanied by Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim and Presidential Office Secretary-General Pan Meng-an.
