BES Engineering Appoints Jeng Szu-Tsung as Chairman, Feng Tun-Cheng as General Manager

(CNA, Taipei, May 21, by reporter Ho Hsiu-ling) After its shareholders' meeting today, BES Engineering Corporation (China Engineering Consultants, Inc.) convened a board meeting in accordance with the law, electing Jeng Szu-Tsung, from the Pau Jar Group camp and chairman of Ta-Hua Development Co., as the new chairman of BES. BES stated that this election solidifies the consensus of the new board and symbolizes the company's entry into a new stage led by a brand-new team. In a press release this afternoon, BES pointed out that the new chairman, Jeng Szu-Tsung, possesses industry resources and corporate governance experience and will implement a governance philosophy of "comprehensive upgrade and professional complementarity." BES noted that the board meeting also approved the appointment of a new general manager, recruiting Feng Tun-Cheng, the current chairman of He-Zhou Construction, to serve as BES's general manager. Feng previously worked as a construction manager at the renowned Japanese construction company "Kumagai Gumi" and has extensive experience in the construction engineering field. He has also participated in the planning of several major landmark projects, including the Shanghai Commercial & Savings Bank and UMC's wafer fab. BES expressed that it will leverage Feng Tun-Cheng's practical construction and management expertise to further strengthen BES's project execution capabilities. Regarding future operational prospects, BES indicated that despite challenges such as fluctuating prices of bulk raw materials, the goal of maintaining a stable operational structure remains unchanged.
