(CNA, by reporter Wu Chia-hao, Taipei, 21st) Early this year, the global artificial intelligence (AI) industry saw a surge in the "Lobster" AI agent trend. Today, Taiwan Web Service (TWS), a subsidiary of computer brand ASUS, announced the launch of its AFS Suite (AI Foundry Service Suite), an enterprise sovereign artificial intelligence (AI) platform, symbolizing a new phase for the enterprise AI market. ASUS stated in a press release that the AFS Suite is built on TWS's existing AI infrastructure and sovereign AI capabilities, designed with a full-stack AI foundry architecture. It assists enterprises in building secure, governable, scalable, and long-term operational AI system capabilities, covering computing power, data, models, and agent applications. TWS General Manager Wu Han-chang expressed that in the future, AI will be more than just a tool; it will be the next-generation core infrastructure for enterprises. While most current international AI platforms tend to make enterprises dependent on existing AI ecosystems and closed service architectures, Wu noted that as AI becomes fully integrated with corporate knowledge, operational processes, and decision-making systems, "enterprise sovereign AI" has emerged as a core issue. A company's ability to have strategic control over its AI has become a decisive factor for future competitiveness.
